Meyer leads Monsters past Belleville, 5-3

Carson Meyer scored one goal and assisted on two others as the Monsters defeated visiting Belleville, 5-3, on March 19 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The Monsters avenged a home loss to the Senators the previous night.

Cole Fonstad, Jake Christiansen, Robbie Payne and Joona Luoto also tallied for Cleveland (26-26-5-2), which was 2 of 4 on power plays.

Monsters goalie Jet Greaves made 33 saves.

Cleveland is off until March 24, when it plays the first game of a home-and-home with Toronto on March 24 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
